Disney’s Value Resorts

Disney has 4 different classifications of their resorts: Value, Moderate, Deluxe and Deluxe Villas. This post will focus on the Value resorts. There are 5 value resorts: Disney’s All Star Sports, Disney’s All Star Movies, Disney’s All Star Music, Disney’s Pop Century and Disney’s Art of Animation.

The value resorts tend to be the cheaper of the resorts with less variation in food options. The theming of these resorts also tend to be a little more character based. They offer great photo opportunities as you can see below.

Each of the resorts have a quick service food court which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and items such as hotdogs, burgers and chicken wings. They each have an outdoor bar offering light meals or snacks as well as drinks. Each of the resorts also offer a gift shop themed to the resort which offers merchandise as well as essentials you may have forgotten to pack such as plasters, nappies, and suncream.

The Disney standard rooms usually has 2 queen sized beds as well as a small safe, a fridge and plenty of storage, all rooms also have a TV for when you need a little quiet time. Disney TV shows many classic Disney movies, Disney cartoons and an information page showing opening/closing times as well as extra magic hours. Many of the resorts also offer a family suite, which is suitable for a larger family. All of the resorts have at least 1 large pool with lots of seating for when you need a little break from the parks.

There's Magic in the Air with New Disney Skyliner | Disney Parks Blog

These resorts all offer free transportation from the disney buses. Disney’s Art of Animation and Disney’s Pop Century are also serviced by the Disney Skyliner. The Skyliner links Hollywood Studios and EPCOT to nearby resorts so when travelling to these parks, you are able to take the skyliner, otherwise you would need to take a bus or use your own vehicle. Disney recently changed their rules on parking at resorts and you now have to pay $15 per night but you will not have to pay again to park in the parks.

As always, any questions on any of the resorts or the things they offer, let me know!

  1. Would you only take small children to this resort or do you think older children would enjoy it just as much

    1. I think that you can take any child to any resort and they would love it. I just think that smaller children would LOVE the characters at Art of Animation. I think that you can stay here without children and love it too. I think it all depends on the people that are going and the type of experience that they want from their holiday. I hope this helps! 🙂
